Egyptian Hieroglyphic Writing

The last thing I got to experience firsthand on my journey was Ancient Egyptian hieroglyphic writing. It was used to keep records and was even inscribed on the walls of temples. The Egyptians believed it was “the words of God.” I had no idea how to translate it, but I did notice how detailed it was. Without the later finding of the rosetta stone, these ancient texts would still be undecoded today.
